Santana & Casa dos Queimadas
Here and there one still can found this old houses in tent shape reed roofs, the casas de colmo.
Here with rows of orchids in flower pots.
One can see the house is still inhabited.
This is a house of a small open air museum beside the town hall of Santana.
busses with tourists arrive here.
With the typical paradise flowers.
A stranger made the photo funny.
The most beautiful and yet inhabited house we found an end
out of Santana on the way to Casa das Queimadas.
The end of the Casa das Queimadas: a few houses along the levada Queimadas.
Around them azalea's, big and small.
This kind of fences are common on Madeira .
It's a pity there also exist other kinds of fences.
